Fashion digital Skills
I will be exploring the implications living in a digital world has had on the fashion industry, and will continue to have in the coming years. It is an essential requirement now for those working in fashion branding and marketing to be able to have the necessary digital tools in order to create and support our work.
In particular, I will be using industry standard graphics software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) amongst various other digital tools, all for the purpose of cultivating digital creativity, a brand's identity and values must be felt in digital and physical platforms.
In this assessment, I will be exploring the implications living in a digital world has had on the fashion industry, and will continue to have in the coming years. In particular, I will be using industry-standard graphic softwares (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) amongst various other digital tools, all for the purpose of cultivating digital creativity.
I will be recreating two pieces of visual fashion content. In doing so, I will be building skills with digital tools to aid me with creating fashion content that is captivating and interesting. The main aim of digital media is to engage with, and to provide excitement for, our audience. This will help prepare me for work that may come in the form of consumer-focused campaigns or even perhaps for my own professional brand. For this reason, it is of great importance that skills are built and honed in: graphic design; photography; moving images; sound; mobile / web; and user-experience design.
